KYB shocks and Cooper tires
Just upgraded to KYB Gas Adjust shocks.......WOW what a huge difference over the stock shocks...i should have done this a long time ago. if anyone is thinking about this...DO IT....its well worth it...

My experience with KYB shocks is that they work excellent (maybe a little on the stiff side, but I like that) but not for very long. They wear out quickly. In your case with few miles on it each year it may be the right choice, but I'd rather spend the money on Bilsteins or equivalent and not have to do it again.
