Does anyone know if the nuts (or other mechanism) which hold the bolts into the fiberglass body are stationary? I believe one of my bolts is broken (by me overtightening! Aaargh!), and I would like to...

Yes, sorry, that's what I'm asking. Is the mechanism, assuming nuts, behind the fiberglass stationary? Can I just change out the bolts, or will the nuts shift? Thanks for your response.
I have loosened the screws holding the ladder attachment brackets on my FW in profile. I did not take them all the way out, as I was just sealing them. They just seemed to be a sheet metal screw, that I am hoping most were turned into the aluminum framing, not just through the fiberglass.
You would really have to tighten to break the screw. I would think more likely, whatever the screw is fastened to, stripped. Even though my FW has a six sided aluminum cage, I'm guessing not every screw in the ladder brackets hit the framing.
I would remove the one you think may be broken, and go from there. If it is broken or stripped, it is not holding anything anyway.
