Large Helium balloon for locating RV when riding

At the dunes in Glamis, I have seen RV's with large helium balloons flying a couple hundred feet above them on a string or rope so riders can find their RV from a long distance. Does anyone know the b...

when i was flying i carried an EFB...electronic flight bag (ipad mini) with software that would show my position, airports, etc. a digitized version of the FAA sectional charts. but i ALWAYS carried and had within reach a current FAA paper sectional map to use WHEN not IF the EFB device failed. old school works. the OP will need a large enough balloon that can be seen for at least a couple of miles.
