Though there is no "Standard" for what color is what.. There is a Tradition. and if (And that is a big IF) they followed tradition.. You figured it out.
Suggestion..When you first apply power do so through a light bulb, a 1156 or 1141 should be a good choice. the slight voltage drop (Assuming the device does not draw more than an amp or two) may cause it to function poorly but if you get a very bright light, either the device is hooked up wrong or it draws alot more power than I expect.
NOTE on the blue wire....
It normally connects to the back up lights. and you may wish to do it that way, I wish mine came on automatically all the time but.
With the back up wire "HOT" (The one you think is blue) it switches to input A (or 1 if you like) which is the back up camera.. With the wire "Cold" (NOT in Reverse) it will let me choose the camera (I have two cameras)
Since I'm driving a gasser it's a long way to the gas cap, it's a long way from where I sit (yes you can sing that line,,, but odds are you don't know the tune). Camera 2 (B) is located at the gas cap. below it on my coach)
When the pump is in the center of the screen,, Park, drop pump side jack and fill 'er up.
