Leave carb drain open on Honda gen in storage?

After I drain the carburetor after using my Honda 2000, should I leave the drain screw open till the next time I use it, or should I close the drain while the generator is in storage? (I run it every...

I would close it. Don't know that it would hurt anything to leave it open but I close mine. I would forget to close it next time I used it so I close it.
