Leave carb drain open on Honda gen in storage?

After I drain the carburetor after using my Honda 2000, should I leave the drain screw open till the next time I use it, or should I close the drain while the generator is in storage? (I run it every...

Here is how I store my EU3000is.......Run till warm......Turn off fuel.....Let run till stops...Change oil.
In Spring......Turn fuel on, put choke on,turn key.....it starts.....


Sometimes I put stable in tank, sometimes I forget.....But, it always starts right up.
