Leave carb drain open on Honda gen in storage?

After I drain the carburetor after using my Honda 2000, should I leave the drain screw open till the next time I use it, or should I close the drain while the generator is in storage? (I run it every...

You're not alone. I drain mine for anything over 2 weeks of non-use.

I made this post a few months ago. Unfortunately picture was deleted. Anyway, it's the tube coming out of the top of the carb.
