Geez "wild 1"{I opened my post with "another perspective"},take offense where none was intended and by the way lighten {no pun intended}, up.
I guess you did not read all of my post ..."Opinions and YMMV".
For the record we do not live in the dark. Two incandescent fixtures light up our coach very nicely for {as noted}, reading, journaling etc.. with a draw of maybe 3 amps. If you want to buy into the "Everybody has to go all LED" BS feel free. We both know it is simply not true for everyone but if railing against those who disagree makes you feel better it is OK with me.
If you run the same number of lights we do you are not saving much, an amp or two... maybe, and gaining little if any light. If you want to light up you rig like high noon by all means fire up every LED in the Pueblo but what is your point?
In three + years/32,000+ miles I have yet to replace an incandescent bulb and if I ever do they are dirt cheap.
Be sure and post where you were able to replace every incandescent light in your rig for $30 as I am sure many will want to do the same.... :S
