You can't take the Fisherman out of this Camper wrote:
Here's a small license plate fixture I have used with a "194" Led bulb that I believe used only 1 watt (or less) of power. I found the LED bulb at an auto supply store. Worked great as a night light with very little power usage! I installed a small separate 'flip' switch to turn it on at night... and off next morning.

I went a similar way, I bought mine from
SuperBrightLEDs. I have 4 installed in my slide in camper on 3 different switches. I use them mostly for sitting around mood lighting. Two are under the toe area close to the floor under the cabinets. I have one mounted with a switch that I can reach from bed if it is dark enough that I need it when I get up. The other one is mounted by the sink and connected to the water pump switch, gives us a little light by the sink when we don't need a bright light and reminds me to turn off the pump when we leave the camper or go to bed. I like them because if it is mounted where you don't want upward light you use the hood, if it is mounted back under something leave the hood off and the whole fixture glows. They draw 1/2 watt each.
Usually there is enough indicator lights on between detectors and chargers that I don't need anything to move around in the camper but I need a pee light to hit the target. I bought some very small battery operated tap lights. One is mounted in the proper spot for aiming, the other I mounted in a dark corner cabinet so we can see what's in the back. They have run for over 4 years on the original disc batteries.
