From my post back in July:
Ten days ago there was a discussion about different ceiling replacement G4 led bulbs. Over the last five years I've had good luck with the cheap ones from China instead of the expensive ones from a US reseller ($11 each). I bought 10 15 led 5630 bulbs ($1.30 each) to compare to the 12 led 5050 ($0.95 each) I'm currently using.
They got here in less than 10 days and I would say they are a little brighter than the 12 led 5050 I've found to be the best of the various types I've tried over the last five years. At 3200 color temp (warm white) the 15 led 5630 are a little bluer than the ones I replaced.
On start up it was probably in the 2500 temp range but as it warmed up it became brighter/bluer than the 12 led 5050s which do not change color. Since I keep a IR temp gun handy I started comparing the temp of the two different bulbs. The 5050s peaked at 120 degrees while the 5630 started at 120 and was still climbing at 210 degrees after five minutes.
I'll probably only use them where I do not leave them on for very long. For use in the LR I'll stick to the 12 led 5050 bulbs. You can buy a 15 led 5050 bulb but they are a larger diameter and do not fit well in the puck lights.

With THOSE temperatures you HAVE been ripped off.
There is a lot of energy wasted in heat with your LEDs.
I just measured the temps of mine and after 20 minutes of operation they are only 86 degrees F!
Granted you THOUGHT got a "bargain" BUT you didn't pay attention to the fact that 5050 and 5630 LEDs are not as efficient as 5730 LEDs.
210 F is only a bit cooler than the incadescent bulbs you removed..
Add to the fact that yours my not have a good regulator (IE resistor) you are burning up a lot of energy in HEAT.
There IS a reason the LEDs I linked to cost MORE than the ones you bought.. Better efficiency = MORE LIGHT = LESS HEAT = LESS POWER WASTED.
