Do you NEED battery powered?
If not, go with a corded drill, you will get more power in a lighter weight drill.
Corded drills also tend to be a lot more compact in size, batteries do take a huge amount of space.
Makitas are my go to tools..
I have had no trouble with any Makita tools I own. The company I work for is "die in the wool" Milwaukee tool fans and they go through batteries like M&Ms..
