OOPS,,

so it is still a good deal, as the pound rises it will be like any other investment, it is now at a 30 year low. it'll come back.

Actually it currently costs 76 GBP to buy 100 USD.
Pound will need to continue dropping to equal the dollar.

The math is close enough for those who read this, and the 1-to-1 means 1 buck will buy 1 pound note. Today we would pay 76 dollars for 100 pound notes, when they become even you will sell the 100 pound notes for 100 USD.

To take people's attention off a Chinese civil war, the politburo will cause a diversion, like an H bomb landing in Almot's back yard. This is a classic communist tactic to handle domestic crisii.

The "Make Work" ethic is working. Two billion frowning Chinese at the gates of Beijing's politburo is a troubling thought. When USA companies like Thomas & Betts demand A DOLLAR A TERMINAL for a 12-10 gauge VINYL insulated 1/4" ring terminal, they are FORCING consumers to defect. Thirty dollars for a 9/16" Snap On combination wrench? I don't think so...Some of you pay TEN TIMES in Federal taxes what my total pension pays. Count me, and 90% of the world as being in the bottom drawer. I live in a place where panels and a battery take people out of the Stone Age, and they had to near starve to death to do even that.

It's not just the government help that is making the panels so cheap. A few years back there was a article on how some of the panel makers were using substandard, even untested materials trying to cut cost and stay in business. Get a bad batch and it won't be worth the shipping to send them back.

Panels last practically forever. Those who already have a big system on RV, will not need more panels until the end of their (i.e. user's) life.

And they are already cheap. For those who don't have big system on RV yet, it would cost a whooping ~$600 for the biggest trailer or MH, in today's prices. Thanks to China dumping thousands of panels for the last few years, heavily subsidized by the govt, to corner the market. I wouldn't have gone broke if paid $800 instead of $500 for panels 3 years ago, this is a long-term purchase. Would rather prefer not to hear the word "China" now, and how much problems they are having themselves and causing to others.

Nothing actually changes unless additional laws are passed to restrict travel or commerce.
GBP has dropped a bit so a good time to visit the old country if you are inclined.

China exporting solar panels to the USA... can't imagine how that would be affected by the laws of the EU or GB.

Maybe I am naïve but I don't really see the hype.
