I would guess that you got bolts that aren't correct for the equalizers and/or shackles you have and need to discuss with etrailer.
I am working with e-trailer on this also, but have not heard back from them. Understand that this is a boxed kit from Lippert that E-trailer is selling. Unfortunately, I should have done more research. The reviews on e-trailer were all glowing. If I'd read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing from e-trailer, I would have read posts from others about the incorrect nuts being supplied.
