While preparing for our trip to Alaska next month, having read this forum, I decided to install the Dexter wet bolt system. I purchased the system from Dexter and had a local tire shop install it. Boy am I glad I did! the factory installed dry bolt with nylon bushings was SHOT. The coach seems to tow much easier now, as if the rolling friction has been reduced. Most likely my imagination but what ever moves the rig down the road. I just cant imagine what it would have been like to have a catastrophic failure along the Al-Can highway. I had not given much thought to giving the running gear much more than just a quick once over once a year. I will be checking the a lot more often now.
