Liquid Electrical Tape? Lifespan?
The subject matter line says it all. A question: When does the stuff age and fall off? Is there something even better than genuine original 3M Liquid Electrical Tape? Does black endure as long as Red?

My heavy-duty electrical splice consists of soldered wires covered in Liquid Tape and all that covered in heat shrink tubing which is shrunk down while the Liquid Tape is still liquid.
Can be messy though, you don't need a lot of Liquid Electrical tape.
