The subject matter line says it all. A question: When does the stuff age and fall off? Is there something even better than genuine original 3M Liquid Electrical Tape? Does black endure as long as Red?

How is the dis-assembly with either ScotchKote or liquid tape? I'm talking screw terminals, bolt/stud terminals, that sort of thing.
