- GordonThreeExplorerCheap is build your own. It's rocket science, but only a little, I think you'd do a great job.
Hardest part is buying a bulk pallet of recycling batteries, disassembling the packs and weeding out the cells that are still healthy. Then you can combine them 3 or 4 in series, and as many in parallel rows as you desire. Cost goes up a little if you buy pre-screened cells, or way up if you buy new cells.
The maintenance circuits are pretty much standard equipment now from our friends on the other side of the Pacific. Charging is getting easier now, just supply constant voltage at 4.1 (or 4.2) Vpc and let 'r rip, the maintenance circuit will disconnect cells as they hit full. - DonnohExplorerI like the Zenhus 3000 Mark IV, but for the mainstream crowd it seems like Battle Born is buying the YouTubers that have RV channels.
Personally if I were going with a Lithium battery I would do my research and buy a Nissan Leaf pack or a Tesla pack and make it work. Most people don't have those abilities so they buy off the shelf stuff which costs a small fortune like the Battle Born batteries.
So to answer your question, most people just stick with lead acid batteries. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerAhhhhh...
Ah cheap as in "Honey, forget Taco Bell's 99 cent special. Tonight we dine at Costco's food court". - MDKMDKExplorerBattle Born. 12V 100aH X 2.

Yep, that means acid batteries. Probably have to visit a yacht or Prevost board for an answer.
