The OP's post is in regards to small hobbyist batteries, not 12v RV batteries; The moment I saw voltages in excess of 3.6v / cell, I knew the article had nothing to do with 12v LiFePo batteries. It requires four (4) cells to make up one 12v battery, so at 4.2v / cell, that's 16.8v.
Unless your looking for batteries for your toy plane or car, I'd ignore everything in that article, as it has nothing to do with 12v LiFePo.
