The only advertised Li specific converter-chargers I’m aware of are PD and Iota, but both strategies seem to be somewhat inadequate... The Iota charges at 14.7v (0.1v above the cutoff voltage of most BMS) and PD which remains at a 14.6v in perpetuity (long after battery is fully charged - a poor strategy for Lifepo4)...I spoke to Powermax and was told that they are in the process of designing their version of a Li specific charger, but have yet to decide whether to make the voltage adjustable, and that the main problem is the lack of common convention among the various battery manufacturers...Some of the more sophisticated inverter-chargers and solar controllers provide charger settings that are ‘user adjustable’, so it seems this would be a logical way forward for a OEM converter-charger manufacturer - crickets......
