The longest cable is likely the length of your RV.. But, here is what you do.
How big (Gauge or diamater) is the largest cable connected to the batteries?
If you have multiple cables, add 'em up, That is add the cross sectional area of the wires and figure out what size wire that would represent.. (Personaly I'd eyeball it)
Use a jumper wire AT LEAST as big as the result.
Example.. If the largest wire connected is a common 4ga starter cable (And this on the Negative terminal I might add. ( use at least 4GA. or double 4GA if you like. (4ga is common starter cable).
