The present location is in front of the cover in the tongue area. The cover has a small cutout that jsut barely lets it clear the single battery mounted there. But it only clears a 12v battery, a 6v golf cart battery is to tall. To mount one battery inside the cover area I will need to bolt on some angle aluminum to the frame. It would be just as easy to bolt on a long piece so that a battery can be mounted on each side as a shorter piece for a battery on one side.
