Just for example, if you now have a 6 ga, and a 12 ga hooked to the positive battery post, that would be 50 amps for the 6 ga, and 20 amps for the 12 ga, total of 70 amps. Whatever wire will carry 70 amps,.....4 ga ??? will be good for the interconnect.
