I agree. #10 is fine (barely) for 60 amps. Typically, the wire is properly sized to handle whatever current and then some in RV's. That's rarely an issue. Voltage drop is usually the issue. That's where the over the top wiring recommendations come from. In this case, the wire run is short AND the current draw is low so no need for huge wires. I'm a big wire advocate (BWA :)) and I won't use unnecessarily large wire.
