Looking for circuit breaker

On returning from a weekend trip we stopped and wanted to use the roof A/C on generator power. No voltage to the outlets. We had been on shore power during the trip with no problem.

I looked on the generator but didn't find a breaker. Also looked at all the panels of which I know. Anyone know where it could be?

  • No automatic switch. I know about the power cord business switching between on-board generator and shore power.

I will look again at the generator, thanx.

UPDATE !! OK, there is was. Its black and so is all around it. Its just to the right of the start switch and unobvious.

    Isn't this a great forum?
  • Circuit breakers are on right side of the onan Control box

    Or

You have a stuck automatic transfer switch, in small RVs that is usually located behind the power panel, or even part of the power panel
  • On my rig the Onan generator circuit breaker is on the right side - small switch which was hard to see/reach - I used a pencil to reach to "reset". Your generator should have free online manual - easy Google.
  • On my trailer, I must plug-in the shore power cord to the internal generator recepticle in the power cord storage box, if I want to use generator power.

Some rigs have and automatic generator switchbox to do this.

    Which setup do you have?
