And I've had excellent results with Coleman "Mach" units. But the two that I've had were the simplest ones. One "Select" knob (Fan or Cool, Low or High) and a "Temperature" knob (just a scale, no digits no display) and no Remote Control.
The first was a 13500 BTU that ran 25 years with only cleaning and filters. We now have a (noisy!) 15000 BTU that's needed cleaning, filters, and a blower motor.
I'd pick between RVP and Dometic myself, too. In addition to price, I'd try to look for the least complexity. And I'd shy away from the new "Advent" till they showed a track record and adequate dealer support/service.
