Very nifty.
Do you have experience with this?
I have these on three tanks and my experience has not been good.
I have a tank for my home barbeque that has one with a full tank of propane and a new battery in the sensor that indicates the tank is empty.
They seem to only work part of the time.
I would not recommend plus they are a little pricey.
That has been my experience also. I used mine for the smoker tank on the patio and it is not as reliable as I would like. I finally just gave up on it.
That makes me sad. I've been reading about these and generally see pretty decent reviews. I've wanted it, just haven't sprung for them yet.
I am very happy with these sensors. I have been using them for 18 months on my 5th wheel. The manufacturer recently sent me their new aluminum spacers for free when I called and asked about them. I need to clean the tank bottom where the sensor attaches and be careful to center the sensors as the manual says to do. Then I get very reliable data from them on my phone.
I replaced the batteries in them after about 15 months because the app said the batteries were very low.
DW and I are happy with them.
