Low Voltage Hair Dryer
I need to get my hands on a low voltage hair dryer. I can't run my air and have my wife blow dry her hair when we're camping. Any ideas? thanks dwayne

When she uses the hair dryer, just turn the A/C to "fan only." You will still move lots of cool air, and the 5 to 10 minutes of hair dryer use will not affect the inside temperature. After drying, just move the switch back to A/C. That way, the compressor in the A/C will not run (it is the big electric hog) and everyone will be happy. Better yet, teach her how to move the switch.
