The 'naughty word editor' on here won't allow an explanation :B
I don't think it will object to Sore Out of Luck.
Some people might use a stronger word than sore.... - Old-BiscuitExplorer III

What's LR?
Load Rating - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIINitto Tires (Dura Grappler) has couple of 17" with 3750# and 3950# Load Ratings
BUT tires are LT285/70R/17 E and LT285/75R/17 E
The 70R is 1" larger in DIA. ---- 1 1/4" wider thread section
The 75R is 2"+ larger DIA. ------ 1 1/2" wider thread section
Neither of which would fit my 17" rims or front wheel well (turning radius)
SO 265/70R with 3195# is all I have found that fit. - Ace_ExplorerWhat's LR?

There are higher rated E tires. Sometimes it means going slightly bigger. How strong are your rims? What is your goal? Truck information?
It is an F 250 with alloy Factory wheels. My goal is to get higher weight rated 17" tires. So send me in the direction of higher weight rated LR E 17 inch tires. I am interested.
