Lubrication for RM Falcon Two Tow Bar
One leg of my towbar extends and retracts with great difficulty. I've tried various lubrication procedures, to no avail. Any suggestions? GM

Had that happen with two Falcon 2s - RM said the towbar had been bent, and wouldn't honor the warranty. Replaced it with a 10000lb rated Blue Ox. No such problems since. Blue Ox even makes adapters for the RM baseplates.
RM manual says a lot of soap and water should clean it. I also tried a dry silicone spray, WD40, even profanity. No glory.
