Lubricant for stabilizers
Just wondering what you guys are using to lubricate your stabilizers. Mine are starting to show a little rust and wanted to get them lubricated before they get worse. Thanks for the help.

- I use RV slide lube, I’m already under the trailer and have it with me, so might as well use it. I’ve also used grease while I was greasing my wheel bearings.
- I used WD-40 for years and years. Friend told me to try the spray white grease. Tried it and noticed that is sticks on the part being sprayed better than wd-40. Also when running the stab up and down it feels like to me that it is easier to move. My opinion
- Nothing heavy but apply 2x a year.

Used it for over 20 years. Works great, and is cheap and can get it everywhere. Has a thousand other uses too. Right up there with duct tape and baling wire in my must haves.ford truck guy wrote:

Yep.- I've use motorcycle chain lube spray in the past, but the dry graphite lube sounds like the best solution.

Been using it since 2007 on 5vr landing gear legs, stabilizers, even slide out rack
Goes on wet then dries so it does attract/hold dirt etc- I used a dry graphite spray... it lessens the dirt and debris being attracted to it
