OH, PLUG for Sears Craftsman. We bought some of their 3/4" drive sockets and the walls were as thin as their 1/2" ones. Cracked a number of the 1-1/8" ones on school bus lug nuts.
BUT! Checked Sears recently and they'd upgraded their 3/4 stuff. Much heavier walls, should be fine for lug nuts. Another choice would be an Impact Socket (the black ones), but drive size should be bigger than 1/2". With an extension, like you need for rear wheels, too much of your wrench torque gets wasted putting a twist in the extension. You'll feel 3/4 go to work right away while 1/2 is busy winding up the extension (and bending the breaker bar!).
