Magnesium or Aluminum Anode Rod?
We are getting a portable water softener & conditioner for our fifth wheel? Since it uses salt, I was wondering if anyone had any insight on which type of anode rod to use in our water heater?

You're welcome. I really felt that I had to comment on this matter because I had a close relative who chose to use potassium chloride instead of sodium chloride and suffered serious consequences from it. His heart and other organs gave out and he expired. Not saying it was a direct result but that he falsely believed he was okay with consuming this treated water.
