Magnum Inverter

Anybody mounted these upside down it said it could be done in the manual. If so can you show pictures.
  • Maybe fabricate a metal frame for the basement ceiling to bolt it to would help solve some problems???

Can't you just use large washers or even a metal plate under the bed?

That's what I thinking. I have a a plate that I was going to put against the floor joists and then use big washers or 2' flat bar for extra support. You by chance have pictures of you install?

I believe mine uses 6 bolts.

What's your concern? Mine isn't upside down but sideways. Been like that three years now.

The main concern is getting the 6" air space. It looks like I will have to put it in the basement and if I hang it upside down(which is approved) I will have the clear space and it is out of the way but the dang thing is 55 Lbs. hanging from 1/4" bolts and I just wonder hanging from the basement ceiling also the floor under the bed is going to be a problem
  • Magnum is pretty specific in the owner's manual about what can and can not be done as far as installing.
