What signaling protocol is the data side? Is the data cable twisted pair, or something with parallel leads like silver satin cable? Best practice is NOT to run data cable in close proximity to power cable, but some data signaling and cable is fairly immune to the induced current from adjacent power cable, while other types are very susceptible.
