Main Heat Pump buuumr on heat
Our main or primary heat pump, started a noise like buuuum on heat the other night and still does it until the compressor cuts out. How bad is it and can I fix it?

Check the capacitors. If they look in the least bit bulged or messy, replace them. Their the main reason a compressor will not start as it should. Don't let it keep trying to start or you'll ruin it for good.
