I saw those, I would have to cut them off an add mc4 connectors on the other end. The Renogy rep said 12-14 awg wire, so is 10 okay?
I don't have a mc4 crimping tool either. That's why I was after a pre-made cable. But if it's easy I could go that route.
10 gauge is fine, keep the run as short as possible from the charge , controller to the battery, to prevent voltage drop, which would then charge your battery less than properly.
