Mean Well power supply for my usage
I've been reading old threads for a couple of hours. I'm fairly sure a Mean Well p.s. can do what I want to do, but I'd appreciate if one of you early adopters can point me to a specific model, etc. ...

FWIW, Mine works well for me, even though the unit never functioned properly from the get go. I have it set at 15.8v. It comes on about 13v (on 50% batts) and gets to a little under 14.8v at about 8a, if I recall. And after it has sat for an additional couple hours at 14.8v, I can also adjust it up even higher, while it's charging, and do a top charge at 15.2v.
And I guess I could use it to float, if absolutely necessary, by simply dialing it down to a suitable float voltage. Worse case scenario, if the power did go off and on, it would float at 1v higher for 15 minutes, and then drop back down... no biggy!
