Hey, maybe he's sensitive to electricity (an alarm-keet);)
I'm thinking maybe 1/2 of one of those processor heat sinks will fit into the case indent, adjacent to the transistor mount. I'm sure you will get something figured out. Also, that shipped box will have 10 or so 40mm fans, you should be able to get a good match out of the bunch. USPS, is at the top of my to-do list, in the morning.
