My new GT power meter is to arrive Wednesday. I got some new 8awg between powerpole connector and battery switch/shunt today
I am performing another test right now, except I forgot to dial in 14.7v before plugging screwy31(37AH from full) into meanwell. I turned the pot somewhere well over 14.7v after starting, and amps maxed out right at 40 even and stayed there right till I backed off the trim pot when battery reached 14.7v at the 32 minute mark. terminal voltage was 15.04 at 32 minutes. Gtpower 14.91v.
I have two other fans, Noctuas, the 60MM I put on the cheapowatt till it smoked, and an 80mm I pulled from elsewhere. The 80mm is kinda blowing in at the front, the 60Mm is resting on the side kind of blowing downward across one recess and the bottom. Neither of these are very powerful fans, but they are very quiet.

The loud 40MM Fan shut off at 23.97 amps, @ 91.7F. So it appears I can keep the fan from coming on in overnight floating as I never expect to exceed 12 amps. I assume with the fan(s) mounted to the Lid cooling will be improved further compared to just hanging and aiming in the general direction.
The new 8 awg is cool to touch, the 45 amp power pole stayed cool passing 40 amps, the GTpower stayed cool. The meanwell maxed out at 104.6F. That is not the ir gun but the DMM temp sensor taped to the hottest part of the case.
Tell you what, I'm digging this MeanWell more and more.
I noticed some voltage limiting at MW terminals in the first 5 minutes. the amps stayed rock solid at 39.78( +.24a for the unmetered fans hooked to output terminals) but the voltage at the terminals had gone upto 14.17 but 5 minutes later, had lowered to 14.02v
5 minutes later it was back up at 14.16v, still at 40+ amps total
Insert maniacal laughter here.......
