This is why I am placing 5 volt micro fans inside the case for the CheapOWatts. When a fan is 1" distant from the heat sink it's going to push air to the device.
Made up my mind OFF WITH YOUR HEAD! The CheapOWatts are losing their covers. There's going to be a lot of breeze inside the was/Sola case which is louvered to death. Imagine that! A five volt fan for each exposed heat sink. I've ordered twenty copper porcupines and enough arctic silver epoxy to glue this house to the foundation. Wait! There's more!
A V.A. meter is going into the lid. Trust it more than a watt meter. There is room for FIVE CheapOWatts inside that case, and three large double-shottky rectifiers on that heat sink. 125 amperes of safe charging @ 25 amperes at 14.2 per. Don't know what an 1,800 watt 12 volt MeanWell costs but then I don't know what a new Bugatti costs, either...
A big issue is five voltage divider networks versus one 2-watt 15-turn pot. I have 6,500 resistors waiting for me so I'm sure I'll be able to tweak individual CheapOwatts to a T. If 2 watts can handle it...
