I can definitely see the merits/need of directing the air flow of the stock fan, and the 80mm on the lid is definitely working well as power vent. I was just curious if the lid was a kinda catch 22... helping on one hand but holding in heat on the other.
What are the surrounding temps in the cabinet, and will they be affected greatly throughout the changing seasons? perhaps something to be considered? And perhaps a little extreme, but is it feasible to incorporate a fresh air intake and/or exhaust to the outside of the rig?
Is that fan Mex posted louder than the stock 40mm at 48db?
