Let's see, we have the MeanWell PSU, the MegaWatt PSU and now the MexicoWander BORG PSU... what is with all these MW power supply based chargers being used by @n@l owners of very expensive battery packs? What do these owners know that the general public could care less about, in terms of battery life and proper care and proper recharging regimes. Perhaps they actually read the Owners manual on the expensive batteries they buy and consume?
With AGM and Li Ion batteries, yes, resistance is both low, and futile. Regular lead Acid batteries, resistance is still Good and Plenty for the last 15% state of charge being restored, the most important and critical part of a good battery charge regime.
