I put fresh 10 awg to circuit board on Schumacher. Still acts wacky, but on AGM setting will usually stay under 15 volts, and it has been getting some regular use charging the screwy 31 that has been relegated to light cycling duty in my workshop powering LEDs and fans and my old 12v TV.
The Meanwell has been getting a lot of use. My additional 60 and 80mm Noctua fans on the case lid spin anytime the 45 amp powerpoles are connected to DC, and I've been giving my AGM a rest cycle wise, so the meanwell has been holding it at a manually temperature compensated float voltage powering all my dc loads at least 6 nights a week..
Which explains this dust build up:

It got vacuumed and blown and everything Deeeee dusted.
I removed the little rubber isolation mounting feet for the fans and now both cleaned fans are tightly screwed to lid and blowing inward.
I can't tell any difference in noise and can't yet judge whether new 80mm fan direction is more effective in this flow orientation.
The 3600 degree potentiometer has developed a wacky spot right in the middle of the range where I mostly use it, around 14.06 volts. Time for a Bournes 1K ohm pot with a counting dial.
After reassembly I unhooked the schumacher which was floating at 13.6v and hooked MeanWell to the screwy 31 and brought it slowly in stages upto 16v over 15 minutes @ 6.2 amps, then held it at 16v for about a half hour,
For old times sake. I had forgotten what a gassing battery smelled like or heard the gurgling.
I brought it upto 17.8 volts briefly for grins ( took 22 amps!) when I remembered my TV was still connected to it, .... and now I know My tv can handle those voltages :)
