Hmmmm .... I thought the PD pedestal allowed you to go to and hold as often as and as long as you wanted .... it's 14.XX boost voltage level?
Are you saying that A) the pedestal doesn't allow one to do that, or are you saying that B) 15.XX voltages are better than 14.XX voltages? Most of the posts I've read on wet cell battery charging say that "normal 14.XX boost voltages" wind up allowing one to bring their batteries up to over 90% in 3-4 hours on a generator ... hence PD converter/chargers being "excellent" for dry camping. Now we're discussing that it takes 15.XX voltages instead of 14.XX voltages to do the 3-4 hour drycamping thing?
It seems to me that exposing wet cell LA batteries to 15.XX volts every time you charge them would necessitate real close monitoring of water levels and ear plugs due to a lot of liquid gurgling. :h
