Long thread and funny name of the device made me curious to find out - so now I know. It is about doing the right thing - for battery - without having the right power source. Now I also know why I didn't know about this thing before - because have been using the right power source from the beginning, solar controller is doing it all :). Precisely regulated setpoints, EQ, etc etc, 95% SOC before noon. Alright, maybe not always can do EQ, need a real nice weather for this, but then, my manufacturer says I'm not even supposed to do EQ on this AGM. Not that I believe them.
