Thanks Mr. Wizard. It is a hike to the storage lot so I am trying to visit only once a day. I could do what you are saying in the morning. But the load would still be on the battery until pre-dawn the next morning.
I am equalizing the sacrificial group 27 battery tonight. It may be working hard for a week or two.
