I am continuing to use this thread to document the pilot system performance. I think I get the 60% thing. The watts are indeed about 60% of the peak panel rating. Without MPPT to tap those watts efficiently, the reduction in available amps seems to be less than 40%.
At 12:47 PM with a local sunrise at 7:12 AM I got my first ever 10 amp hour yield day. Amps have been drifting down since 12:18PM - at 2.92 A, 12.35v and 36.0W when it crossed 10Ah.
I know I have a flea power system compared to virtually everyone else here, but it's far more entertaining than it has a right to be.
