Exactly - Unisolar is really 3 different spectrum PVs in one, and designed as roofing material. They have some good qualities.
Yes it is within 5% or less of level. The flat to the eye roof actually has a very slight curvature for drainage when looked at closely. The panel is set up diagonally so part of it follows the tiny slope to the east and part follows the tiny slope to the west.
It is a day that is typical for cloudy days here in the winter, 78 degrees right now. If the forecast holds up and it stays cloudy all day, I will end up with a yield for the day of 8Ah, so the final system should do about 16Ah on the shortest day of the year if cloudy.
I think this is going to work out well for my needs.
I am rethinking my permanent Unisolar mounting orientation - staying entirely out of any shadowing from the RV itself seems to work very well. It might be worth doing something odd looking to keep this efficiency I have in the test setup in the final install.
