In my research they fit my needs better than any others I looked at. I had originally planned to make panels out of them then traditional mount, but the more I learned, the more a leaned against doing that. Sal's document is the first place I saw that their output actually increases with temperature rather than the usual decrease.
I am seeing the kind of cloudy day performance they are supposed to have. I have tested performance in tree shade with only dappled sunlight coming through and they do well there as well. The experiment where they were actually aimed to the northeast in the above document is pretty incredible. I do find they will produce anytime they can see daylight sky, at least to some degree. No luck under bright parking lot lights at night!
