Maybe it's best to stick with proven transcription media that will not be upchucked by the rv.net server. The main thing is to gain good connection speed. If I have to I will sit on a herniated disc killing hard bench in Starbucks USA and do it. Or be a cheap --- and do it at a Mickey D's over a "thriftier" senior's coffee. Whatever gets the job done.
The bank card issue may have been resolved. Wells Fargo jumped all over this and is overnight mailing new cards. A Rube Goldberg grade package linkage will msrathon the cards to the Baja Pack station a 155 mile drive. Better than thumbing a ride to the border.
Meanwhile back at the ranch...
Soldering. People are leery of it most likely because they tried it with plumber's solder and ended up with a glob that resembled a slop of alumimum paint. Since it's going to be a separate chapter maybe I can demonstrate how to arrange my favorite electrical wire knot - The Western Union.
I am hurting for No 4.0 and number 1.75 reading glasses. Impossible to find down here. Boy is Wal-Mart in for a surprise. Their 45,000 mile tire wearout Douglas Chinese rags lasted 10,000 miles.
If anyone out there has junk heat sinks like old battery isolators or junk sinks off an old converter I really could use some for my projects. To save postage hammer and chisel their guts out. And Señor Pianotuna your spike clamper is leaving Chula Vista via UPS when I arrive :)
